Sal Maglie - "Brushback"
Sal Maglie was a Major League Baseball player from 1945-1958. He was a pitcher with a career ERA of 3.15. He began his career with the New York Giants for one year in 1945 and then returned to play with the Giants again from 1950-1955. Maglie is a two-time All-Star (1951, 1952) and World Series champion (1954). He was the 1950 NL ERA leader and pitched a no-hitter on September 25, 1956.
